2017 has turned into a hellish year. Somehow, I had a feeling. I don't know why. And I don't know why I should bother telling this to the public, because I don't know you. But, I know there are good people on this site that DO support the photos that I am proud of (regardless of the quality). To make matters simple: my mom died... And it is the worst thing that I could imagine. I don't know what to say... she made me what I am. She made all the things I love about me. Goodbye, mom.
Update: August
A little update for y'all. Sorry, I haven't been posting much lately. For one, it's been a "dry" season and I haven't found much that was worth photographing. So, that sucks. Aside from that, my computer's hard-drive was loaded and I couldn't get anything off my cards, let alone get Photoshop up and running. Aside from THAT, work has been hectic and I find myself very tired and/or busy with other things. Aside for THAAAAT, there's been some health problems in my immediate family and that's really taken the wind outta my sails. That being said, I really hope 2015 turns out better than this year did.
As always, thank you to everyone that has t
Mid-winter 2014
Been a long time since an update. Since I'm currently stuck in perpetual deep-freeze here in lovely SW Pennsylvania, it goes without saying that insect shots are just about impossible to come by. I've still been digging through this past Summer's archives trying to salvage what I can. It's been a long year. I'm getting anxious for the 2014 season of creepy-crawlies and general outdoor enjoyment.
It was a year of achievements and progress here in the undergrowth!
So, being that updates are few-and-far-between, I'll take a moment to thank everyone that has shot me a request, added me as a favorite, or used any of my photos as features. That s
I guess that's it.
As much as I hate to admit it, I think it's finally fair to say that the 2012 macro season is officially at a close. I might have a few unprocessed shots floating around here and there, but that's still to be seen. I wanted to, again, thank everyone who's enjoyed my images, commented, faved, or added me. This year (as with every year) has been a year of trial and error, highs and lows, and especially finding new things. I think it's been my best year so far in terms of quality of images and HOW I want them to look, so I'm already very excited about the Springtime when the jumpers wake up, the buzzing things start buzzing, and the warm sun gre
Thank you all!!
I just wanted to make a note that as much as I try to individually thank everyone who favorites my work, sometimes it gets overwhelming and time-consuming. Your favorites and comments mean the world to me and I hope no one would take offense to any comments that I may have overlooked, or favorites that I have failed to properly thank you for. I really do feel bad about not always being able to give individual attention to you all, but I hope you'd understand where I'm comin' from. I'm sure you have similar problems, as well. So, again: Thank you all so much!!!! Happy shooting!
Adam
